Learn, Grow and Teach the Hoot Hoot Way

The Hoot Hoot Way is excited to offer a series of hands-on professional learning workshops designed for educators working in early childhood and primary settings. Each workshop is based on the Hoot Hoot Way teacher lesson series, helping educators bring care, belonging, kindness, and safety into every classroom.

These interactive sessions explore how to guide children through stories, songs, and activities featuring Miss Owl and her friends, building social, emotional and wellbeing skills in a joyful, age-appropriate way.

Workshop Highlights

1. Caring and Safe Classrooms

Learn how to create safe, nurturing learning environments using the Safe Places and Safe Adults lessons. We’ll explore practical ways to help children feel seen, heard, and supported every day.

2. Listening, Helping and Speaking Up

This session empowers educators to help children find their voices. Explore story-based approaches to teaching emotional literacy, empathy, and communication.

3. Belonging and Inclusion

Celebrate diversity and connection through lessons like We All Belong and Taking Care of Each Other. Discover creative art, movement and storytelling activities that promote inclusion.

Learn how to approach sensitive topics like body safety and personal boundaries with confidence, warmth, and clarity.

A full-day workshop that ties all lessons together, integrating storytelling, song, and wellbeing education into your everyday program.
